THNIC Joins ‘AI Builder Hub: SME CONNECT’ to Empower Entrepreneurs and Young People to Build Their Online Presence with .th
The Thai Network Information Center Foundation (THNIC Foundation) and T.H.NIC Co., Ltd. participated in ‘AI Builder Hub: SME CONNECT’ where they hosted a booth to promote the Thaionline.in.th program. Held under the theme “Connecting the Next Generation, Business, and AI Technology for Rayong’s Future,” the event took place on September 14, 2026, at King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok, Rayong Campus.
The event was organized by the House of Representatives’ Committee on Communications, Telecommunications, and Digital Economy and Society to provide a platform connecting knowledge, technology, and business opportunities for entrepreneurs, young people, and individuals interested in applying digital technologies and AI.
At the event, THNIC provided information and consultation on Thaionline.in.th, an initiative designed to help Thai entrepreneurs establish their online presence and develop digital business channels through their own websites using .co.th or .in.th domain names. Having a dedicated website and domain name can help strengthen business credibility, create a more professional online presence, and expand opportunities to reach customers through digital channels.

THNIC also promoted the “Punweb .th” (ปั้นเว็บ .th) program, which encourages university students, other learners, and educational personnel across Thailand to make use of .th and .ไทย domain names for learning, portfolio development and website skills development. The program also aims to help participants build skills that can be applied to future careers and employment, aligning with the event’s goal of connecting the potential of the younger generation with business and technology.
Visitors to the THNIC booth also received guidance on getting started with website development and learned about benefits available through the Thaionline.in.th program. These include a free .co.th or .in.th domain name for one year, a free one-page website, and additional benefits from the program’s network of partners. These resources are designed to make it easier for entrepreneurs to establish their online businesses and provide them with practical tools to support future growth in the digital economy.
THNIC’s participation in the event represents another step in its ongoing efforts to promote the use of .th and .ไทย domain names alongside digital skills development. These initiatives aim to empower entrepreneurs and young people to establish their own online spaces and make practical use of technology in education, work, and business.
The Thaionline.in.th program is currently open to entrepreneurs and other interested participants free of charge until December 31, 2026. For more information and to apply, visit Thaionline.in.th
