THNIC and Nakhon Sawan Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 Organized Training to Strengthen Website Development Skills and Enhance School Cybersecurity
The Thai Network Information Center Foundation (THNIC Foundation), in collaboration with the Nakhon Sawan Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 through its Distance Learning, Information and Communication Technology (DLICT) Group, organized the hands-on training program, “From Teacher Websites to School Websites: Website Development with .th and .ไทย Domain Names”, on September 12–13, 2026, at the Nakhon Sawan Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. The training brought together 150 teachers and educational personnel responsible for managing school websites under the Office’s supervision.
The training was designed to equip teachers and educational personnel with the knowledge and practical skills needed to create and manage websites. Participants learned how to use websites as platforms for sharing information, news, and teaching materials, with the aim of further developing these skills to build official school websites. The program also enhanced participants’ understanding of domain names under .th and .ไทย, Thailand’s country-code domains, and how their use can strengthen website credibility and build greater confidence in schools’ online communications.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Ms. Natchalida Tanma, Deputy Director of the Nakhon Sawan Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. Ms. Sasinat Nuchkasem, Educational Supervisor and Acting Director of the DLICT Group, delivered a report outlining the objectives of the program.

The training emphasized hands-on learning and was led by Mr. Sumon Jirapattanaporn, an expert instructor from Nakhon Sawan Rajabhat University, who conducted practical sessions designed to enable participants to apply their newly acquired knowledge and skills to developing their own and their schools’ websites.
The program also featured a cybersecurity session by Mr. Parkpoom Tripatana, Director of the Thai Network Information Center Foundation Learning Center (THNIC Academy). His session, titled “Cybersecurity”, aimed to raise awareness of online threats and provide teachers and educational personnel with practical approaches to cybersecurity alongside their website development and management skills.
Ms. Saowanee Juirit, Project Manager at THNIC Foundation, said, “Developing a school website today should go beyond simply providing a space for publishing information. Credibility, security, and proper website management are equally important. THNIC aims to help teachers and educational personnel build a solid understanding of website development, beginning with creating their own websites and ultimately applying that knowledge to the development of their schools’ official websites.”
Ms. Natchalida Tanma, Deputy Director of the Nakhon Sawan Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, said, “A website serves as an important ‘digital storefront and public image’ for an educational institution. It is a key channel for building trust among students, parents, and local communities. Encouraging schools to maintain official websites and use official domain names such as .ac.th or .ศึกษา.ไทย can help establish standards for schools’ online communications, reduce the risk of online fraud, and support effective educational management in the digital era.”
She also announced a policy requiring all schools under the supervision of the Nakhon Sawan Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 to maintain official school websites using .ac.th and .ศึกษา.ไทย domain names.
The “From Teacher Websites to School Websites” training represents another collaborative effort to strengthen the digital skills of teachers and educational personnel while supporting schools in developing practical, effective websites with domain names that reflect their identity as Thai educational institutions. This will help enhance the credibility of school information and strengthen communication between schools, students, parents, and communities in the digital era.
