THNIC Academy Organizes 6th “Baengpun Camp”

THNIC Academy successfully held the 6th Baengpun Camp on 6 October 2025 and 11–15 October 2025 at THNIC Academy in Tak Province.

This year’s camp received overwhelming interest from high school and vocational students in Tak and Phrae provinces, with 11 teams (38 participants) applying to join the program. The participants were from various educational institutions, including:

  • Takpittayakom School – 23 students
  • Phadungpanya School – 8 students
  • Saroyseree Wittaya School – 3 students
  • Pluluangwittaya School – 1 student
  • Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna, Tak – 3 students


After the selection process and completion of all required training sessions, 11 teams with a total of 32 participants successfully completed the program

6 October 2025 – Online Opening Ceremony

The camp officially commenced with an online opening ceremony, led by Mr. Parkpoom Tripatana, Director of THNIC Academy, who welcomed participants and introduced the overall activities of the camp.

The first session featured a lecture on “Preparation and Production of Website Content” by Asst. Prof. Sudthanom Rodsawang from the Faculty of Communication Arts, Dhurakij Pundit University. The session focused on techniques for creating high-quality, engaging content suitable for digital communication.

This was followed by a talk on “Ethics for Website Development” by Mr. Siribhat Glamglin from Bangkok University’s Lifelong Learning Center, who emphasized ethical practices and responsibilities for online content creators.

At the end of the day, participants received their Hackathon assignment, to prepare them for the on-site competition and joining the camp scheduled for 11–15 October 2025 at THNIC Academy, Tak province.

11 October 2025 – On-site Camp Begins

The Baengpun camp officially began with opening remarks from Mr. Parkpoom Tripatana, who welcomed the participants and outlined the full program—three days of intensive workshops followed by a two-day website development Hackathon.

The first workshop covered “Media Production” and was led by Mr. Sittipon Prajan, who provided insights into producing creative digital media for effective website presentation.

The afternoon session focused on “Domain & Hosting Preparation”, conducted by Mr. Nattapat Kerdkaew from THNIC Co., Ltd., guiding participants through domain registration, hosting operation, and basic website management.

12 October 2025 – Web Design and WordPress Workshop

Day two began with a workshop on “Web Design” delivered by Ms. Punyanuch Maleesa from Kondotthai Co., Ltd., covering layout, color schemes, typography, and user experience design.

In the afternoon, participants joined a hands-on workshop on “WordPress” led by Ms. Naritcha Pakpaisri from the Thai Network Information Center Foundation (THNICF), teaching WordPress installation, theme customization, content creation, and basic functionality setup.

13 October 2025 – Advanced WordPress and SEO

Training continued with advanced WordPress practice, followed by the workshop, “Universal Acceptance (UA) for Websites”, led by Ms. Naritcha Pakpaisri, who explained how to ensure compatibility with multilingual domain names and email addresses—including Thai-language domains.

The final session of the day focused on “Search Engine Optimization (SEO)”, taught by Ms. Nuttaporn Nittayachaisit from THNICF, who covered strategies for improving website visibility and search ranking.

14 October 2025 – Hackathon: Web Review

Participants began the official Website Hackathon, with the challenge of building a “Web Portal” that aggregates all participants’ review websites.

Each team was tasked with creating a review website—focusing on products, services, or locations—and developing a communication concept that would make their site stand out. The challenge encouraged participants to think critically about the relationship between websites and social media in today’s digital environment.

15 October 2025 – Final Development and Presentation

In the morning session, participants finalized their websites, followed by team presentations to the judging committee and fellow participants in the afternoon.

Closing Ceremony

Dr. Pensri Arunwatanamongkol, Executive Director of the Thai Network Information Center Foundation (THNICF), presented certificates and scholarships to participants and delivered closing remarks for the 6th Baengpun Camp.
