THNIC Hosts Workshop on “Developing Email Servers to Support Thai Email Addresses (EAI)” for Thammasat University Students
The Thai Network Information Center (THNIC) Foundation, in collaboration with KONDOTTHAI CO., LTD., continues its mission to empower young people with internet technology skills by organizing a hands-on workshop on “Developing Email Servers to Support Thai Email Addresses (EAI)”. The training was held for students from the Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Thammasat University.
The workshop aimed to equip participants with practical skills in building and managing their own email servers as well as to develop systems that support Thai-language email usernames in line with the Email Address Internationalization (EAI) standard, an important step toward promoting linguistic diversity in global email systems.
The session was led by Mr. Anawin Pongsaboripat, the assistant director of the Thai Network Information Center Foundation, and Mr. Titipong Pak-insri, the Operation and Support manager of Thai Name Server Co., Ltd, who shared technical insights and real-world experience during the workshop held on 18 October 2025.
