THNIC Partners with Thailand E-Commerce Expo 2026 to Help Thai Businesses Build Their Online Presence with “Thaionline.in.th”
The Thai Network Information Center Foundation (THNIC) joined Thailand E-Commerce Expo 2026 as an exhibitor to promote the “Thaionline.in.th” project, an initiative supporting Thai businesses in adopting e-commerce. Organized by the Department of Business Development (DBD), Ministry of Commerce, the event was held on 6–7 August 2026 at ICONSIAM HALL, ICONSIAM. The event focused on helping Thai entrepreneurs adopt technology and digital tools to improve business efficiency and create new opportunities for growth.
Thailand E-Commerce Expo 2026 provided entrepreneurs with an opportunity to explore booths of partners and digital service providers across various sectors. The event brought together platforms, technologies, tools, and solutions for online businesses, covering everything from online sales tools, store and order management systems, marketing and content solutions, and customer data analytics to AI and automation technologies, as well as payment systems, logistics, and back-office services.
At the THNIC booth, visitors were introduced to ways to build a business presence online through the “Thaionline.in.th” project. The team also provided guidance to entrepreneurs getting started with online business, encouraging them to establish a website as a primary channel to present their products and services under a .co.th or .in.th domain name. These Thai domain names can help reflect a business’s connection to Thailand, enhance credibility, and create a professional image while providing businesses with their own online space to communicate with customers and support long-term growth.
Entrepreneurs and visitors to the THNIC booth could also receive advice on setting up a domain name and website for their businesses and learn about the benefits available through the project, including a free .co.th or .in.th domain name for one year and a free one-page website service for online stores. Participants can also access special offers from the project’s partners, providing additional support as businesses begin establishing their online presence.
THNIC’s participation in the event provided another opportunity to help Thai entrepreneurs gain access to essential digital technologies and infrastructure while supporting businesses in entering the online market with confidence and pursuing sustainable growth in the digital era.
