THNIC Academy Conducts “Problem-Oriented Programming” Training Course to Advance High School Students’ Programming Skills in Tak Province

THNIC Academy organized the “Problem-Oriented Programming” training course for high school students in Tak Province on 8–9 and 15–16 August 2026. The program aimed to strengthen students’ analytical thinking and programming skills while encouraging them to apply their knowledge to solve increasingly complex problems.

This course is the advanced level of THNIC Academy’s three-course programming development learning series, designed to help students build upon the knowledge and skills gained from previous courses and progress toward systematic, problem-oriented programming.

The training was led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Akara Prayote, lecturer at the Department of Computer and Information Science, Faculty of Applied Science, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok. Throughout the program, students gained hands-on experience in C++ programming through a variety of challenging exercises covering mathematics, physics, and complex real-life problems.

At the conclusion of the training, students demonstrated their capabilities through an individual programming assessment, showcasing their progress and ability to apply their knowledge to practical problem-solving tasks. The students who achieved outstanding scores were:

  • Mr. Phanuwat Muadthong — Grade 12, Phadungpanya School
  • Ms. Wathanya Wanchana — Grade 11, Takpittayakom School
  • Ms. Kanrawee Plonart — Grade 12, Takpittayakom School

A total of 24 students registered for the training, with 15 students successfully meeting the course requirements and receiving certificates of completion. THNIC Academy congratulates all students who successfully completed the program and commends their dedication to developing their programming skills. The completion of all three courses in THNIC Academy’s programming development series has demonstrated students’ continued progress in computational thinking and programming, with improved ability to apply their knowledge to problem-solving. In addition, several students have expressed an interest in pursuing computer science and related fields at the higher education level as well.
