THNIC Academy Conducts “Problem-Oriented Programming” Training Course to Advance High School Students’ Programming Skills in Surin Province

THNIC Academy organized the “Problem-Oriented Programming” training course for high school students in Surin Province on 8–9 and 22–23 August 2026. The program aimed to strengthen students’ analytical thinking and programming skills while encouraging them to apply their knowledge to solve increasingly complex problems.

This course is the advanced level of THNIC Academy’s three-course programming development learning series, designed to help students build upon the knowledge and skills gained from previous courses and progress toward systematic, problem-oriented programming.

The training was led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Thongchai Chuachan and his team from the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Science and Technology, Surindra Rajabhat University. Throughout the program, students gained hands-on experience in C++ programming through a variety of challenging exercises covering mathematics, physics, and complex real-life problems.

At the conclusion of the training, students demonstrated their capabilities through a group programming assessment, showcasing their progress and ability to apply their knowledge to practical problem-solving tasks. The students who achieved outstanding scores were:

  • Ms. Pithayaporn Boontham —  Grade 10, Sirindhorn School
  • Mr. Siwarot Butngam —  Grade 10, Sirindhorn School

A total of 30 students registered for the training, with 24 students successfully meeting the course requirements and receiving certificates of completion. THNIC Academy congratulates all students who successfully completed the program and commends their dedication to developing their programming skills. The completion of all three courses in THNIC Academy’s programming development series has demonstrated students’ continued progress in computational thinking and programming, with improved ability to apply their knowledge to problem-solving.
