THNIC and Horwang Pathum Thani School Expand “Webkhru.in.th” (“เว็บครู.ไทย”)  Project with Training on Website Creation Using .th and .ไทย Domains

The Thai Network Information Center Foundation (THNIC) and Horwang Pathum Thani School organized a hands-on training workshop, “Website Development Using .th and .ไทย Domain Names”, under the Webkru.in.th project from May 9–10, 2026, at Horwang Pathum Thani School in Pathum Thani province. The program received strong support from Mr. Sunthorn Phrikchamrun, the school director, who encouraged the development of digital skills among teachers and educational personnel.

The training was conducted to expand the development of educational content websites and to encourage teachers to apply digital technology in teaching management, communication, and the development of their own websites effectively. A total of 131 teachers and educational staff participated, reflecting strong interest and awareness in advancing digital skills for education in the current era.

Throughout the workshop, participants learned from basic website creation to design and content management, as well as the use of .th and .ไทย domain names. The training also covered approaches for applying websites to support teaching, learning, and school public relations, with an emphasis on hands-on practice so participants could apply the knowledge effectively after the training.

The Webkru.in.th (“เว็บครู.ไทย”) project continues to promote the enhancement of Thai teachers’ digital capabilities by supporting educational website creation and the use of .th and .ไทย domain names, which help strengthen credibility, professionalism, and online identity for teachers and educational institutions in a sustainable way.
