On April 8, 2026, the Thai Network Information Center Foundation (THNIC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Thailand Post Co., Ltd. and TRIS Corporation Co., Ltd. to develop a management system for learning and public-service activity repositories in accordance with international digital standards. The agreement was signed by Dr. Pensri Arunwatanamongkol, Executive Director of the Thai Network Information Center Foundation; Dr. Dhanant Subhadrabandhu, President and Chief Executive Officer of Thailand Post Co., Ltd.; and Dr. Amporn Sangmanee, Managing Director of TRIS Corporation Co., Ltd., at the Phanuphanthuwong Conference Room, Phanurangsi Post Office Building.

This collaboration aims to develop a Digital Trust Framework to support the issuance, storage, and verification of Digital Credentials in a manner that is accurate, transparent, and efficiently verifiable. The initiative also promotes the use of Email Address Internationalization (EAI), or Thai-language email addresses, as an important tool for digital identity verification.

The project represents an important step in establishing a prototype national digital credential infrastructure that can be extended for use by government agencies and educational institutions. It is expected to enhance the reliability of electronic transactions and support the continued growth of the digital economy in the future.
