THNIC Invites Participation in UA Day 2026 Free training to advance systems supporting Thai-language domains and email toward global acceptance

        The Thai Network Information Center Foundation (THNIC) is preparing to organize UA Day 2026 as a hands-on training workshop under the topic, “Upgrading Organizational Systems to Global Compatibility for Supporting Thai-Language Domains and Email”. The goal is to promote the concept of Universal Acceptance (UA) into practical use in Thailand and to enhance the information technology systems of Thai organizations so they can fully support Thai-language domain names (.ไทย) and Thai-language email.

        Although internet technology continues to advance, many users still face difficulties using Thai-language domain names and email addresses across various platforms. This is due to many systems not yet supporting or correctly processing such data, which affects access to digital services and the creation of Thai digital identity.

        For this reason, UA Day 2026 is being organized to share knowledge, best practices, and technical approaches for system development aligned with international standards. The focus is on ensuring that all languages, including Thai, can be used on the internet equally and without limitations.
