The Thai Network Information Center Foundation (THNIC), in collaboration with the Ang Thong Primary Educational Service Area Office, organized an online workshop titled “Website Development Using .th and .ไทย Domain Names”, on April 4–5, 2026.

Mr. Komin Thapsai, Deputy Director of the Ang Thong Primary Educational Service Area Office, presided over the opening ceremony. In his remarks, he highlighted the importance of websites as tools for communication, service delivery, and organizational branding while emphasizing the use of .th domain names to enhance credibility and professionalism.

The workshop aimed to develop the knowledge and skills of teachers and educational personnel in creating their own educational websites, serving as an important first step toward the future development of official school websites.

The training also sought to strengthen participants’ capabilities in developing instructional websites, which form a key foundation for expanding into official school website development. The program featured distinguished speakers, including Mr. Boonsong Pumpan, Director of Ban Maduea School in Rayong province, and Acting Sub-Lieutenant Pornsak Sukhiwan, a teacher at Bang Chan (Pluem Wittayanusorn) School in Bangkok. Both speakers, who are Google Certified Trainers and Google Educator Group Leaders (BMA), shared their expertise, techniques, and practical experiences throughout the intensive training sessions.

As a result of the workshop, teachers and educational personnel successfully developed their own instructional websites and completed the registration of 84 domain names. This achievement marks an important milestone in enhancing teachers’ digital capabilities, beginning with personal educational websites and extending toward the practical development of official school websites.

This collaboration reflects the integration of technology and education sectors in driving Thai education into the digital era. It supports the improvement of teaching and learning resources, organizational communication, and public information services in an effective and sustainable manner.

The Webkru.in.th (“เว็บครู.ไทย”) project is still accepting applications from teachers and educational personnel for training at four additional centers: Nan, Surat Thani, Suphan Buri, and Trang. Interested participants can find more information and apply through  https://เว็บครู.ไทย
