THNIC Academy organized the Problem-Oriented Programming course for high school students on August 9 – 11 and 16 – 17, 2025. This advanced-level course is part of a three-course programming development series, designed to elevate students’ programming knowledge and skills while training them to apply concepts in solving complex real-world problems. The program also aims to strengthen analytical thinking and systematic problem-solving abilities.

The course was led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Akara Prayote, lecturer at the Department of Computer and Information Science, Faculty of Applied Science, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok. The intensive program focused on hands-on C++ programming to tackle mathematical, physics, and real-life problems of higher complexity, enabling participants to effectively apply the knowledge gained from previous courses.

At the conclusion of the course, students demonstrated their proficiency through individual and group programming competitions, showcasing their progress and practical application of the concepts learned. The following students achieved excellent scores:

  • Chankit Wongtadam, Grade 12, Takpittayakhom School
  • Kantapoom Juejan, Grade 12, Takpittayakhom School
  • Phanuwat Piluck, Grade 11, Takpittayakhom School
  • Chatdanai Seesai, Grade 12, Phadungpanya School
  • Jirayu Nontasak, Grade 12, Takpittayakhom School

A total of 19 participants successfully completed the program and received certificates of achievement. THNIC Academy extends its congratulations to all students.

Through the three-course programming series, THNIC Academy has observed significant improvement in students’ programming abilities. Many students have also developed a deeper interest in computer science and expressed their aspirations to pursue further studies in the field at higher levels in the future.
