THNIC Empowers Thai Businesses in the Digital Market with “.th” Domains Through Thaionline.in.th

The Thai Network Information Center Foundation (THNIC) is supporting the digital transformation of Thai businesses through the initiative Thaionline.in.th. As part of this effort, Dr. Pensri Arunwatanamongkol, Executive Director of the THNIC Foundation, delivered a talk on “Promoting Thai Businesses in E-Commerce: Enhancing Business Standards in the Digital Era with .th Websites” at the ‘Road to Thailand e-Commerce Awards 2026’. The event was organized by the Thailand E-Commerce Association in collaboration with Digitech ASEAN 2025 and AI Connect 2025 on 21 November 2025 at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani.

Dr. Pensri explained that the Thaionline.in.th project aims to help Thai entrepreneurs fully leverage the opportunities of the digital world, particularly through the use of .th domain names, which strengthen credibility and make it easier for customers to find and trust their businesses. A domain name, or website address, is the first gateway to information on the internet and clearly reflects the identity and image of an organization or business. The .th domain is both trustworthy and easy to remember, with verified registrant information, making it a domain that consumers can rely on.

She added that using email addresses linked to an organization’s domain, such as pensri@thnic.or.th or เพ็ญศรี@ทีเอชนิค.ไทย, is also a key tool for building trust with partners and customers. Such email addresses can be used safely and professionally for identity verification when registering for various online services.

Under the Thaionline.in.th initiative, THNIC and its partners have prepared comprehensive support to help entrepreneurs start and grow their online presence. Participants in the program receive a wide range of benefits at no cost, including:

• Registration of .co.th or .in.th domain names
• Basic website and a dedicated sale page for products
• Training on online marketing to enhance digital skills
• Guidance on obtaining the DBD Registered trustmark to build consumer confidence
