THNIC collaborates with NACC to coordinate cooperation in combating cyber corruption
On January 3, 2024, Mrs. Pensri Arunwatanamongkol, the executive director of the THNIC Foundation, along with the Dot TH team, met with the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) under the leadership of Mr. Niwatchai Gasemmongkol, the Secretary-General of the NACC, to seek cooperation in combating cyber corruption. Their aim is to support and encourage government agencies to disclose information and news on their official websites using the .go.th and .รัฐบาล.ไทย domains for transparency.
Furthermore, this initiative aims to establish trustworthiness for government agencies, by enabling citizens to verify the websites are official government platforms and reduce the risk of deception by impostors. Additionally, it involves developing systems to support Thai-language website names and emails, making it easier for the public to access information and services provided by government agencies.
