THNIC Academy Organizes “BGP Deployment Operations Workshop” to Strengthen Network Operators in Thailand and the Region
THNIC Academy, in collaboration with BKNIX and the Network Startup Resource Center (NSRC), organized the “BGP Deployment Operations Workshop” from May 20–23, 2026, at Centara Grand at CentralWorld, Bangkok. The workshop aimed to enhance knowledge and skills in managing internet infrastructure for network operators from various organizations, both in Thailand and abroad, including Myanmar and the Lao PDR. A total of 28 participants attended the training.
The workshop focused on both theoretical learning and hands-on practice (Hands-on Lab). Participants gained practical experience through a lab environment designed to simulate service provider-level network scenarios, enabling them to better understand routing principles and system management in an effective and structured manner.
The knowledge and skills gained from the training are expected to improve the operational capabilities of network administrators, enhancing service quality for end users while also strengthening the stability and resilience of global internet routing infrastructure.
The activity was held alongside the BKNIX Peering Forum & ThaiNOG Day 2026, a key regional platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration among Internet Service Providers (ISPs), cloud providers, content delivery networks (CDNs), research and education networks, regulators, and leaders in digital infrastructure from both Thailand and abroad.
