THNIC Recognizes Suratthani 2 School and Teacher Anuchit Chansri as Models for Educational Domain Name Integration

The Thai Network Information Center Foundation (THNIC) organized a recognition event honoring exemplary schools and teachers in the use of domain names for education under the Webkru.in.th (“เว็บครู.ไทย”) and Webstudent.in.th (“เว็บนักเรียน.ไทย”) projects. These initiatives aim to promote digital skills development, online learning content creation, and the application of technology in educational institutions. The event was held on May 22, 2026, at Suratthani 2 School in Surat Thani province.

On this occasion, the foundation appointed Suratthani 2 School as the “THNIC Model School for Domain Name Integration in Education” and appointed Mr. Anuchit Chanthasri as the “THNIC Model Teacher for Domain Name Integration in Education”. This recognition honors their efforts in promoting the use of .th and .ไทย domain names in teaching and learning, as well as in developing students’ digital skills in practical and meaningful ways.

This achievement stems from Mr. Anuchit Chanthasri’s participation in the Webkru.in.th (“เว็บครู.ไทย”) training program, after which he expanded the knowledge of website development and domain name usage throughout the school. As a result, teachers and staff have developed more than 90 educational websites, creating online learning spaces that are actively used in classrooms.

At the same time, the school has continuously integrated the Webstudent.in.th (“เว็บนักเรียน.ไทย”) curriculum into its teaching. More than 250 students have successfully created their own websites, including portfolio websites, project websites, personal showcase websites, and websites based on individual interests. Through this process, students have developed digital skills alongside creativity, communication abilities, and hands-on learning experiences. Their websites can also be used to support future educational opportunities and personal development.

Another notable achievement of Suratthani 2 School is its ability to expand from the use of a single domain name into a comprehensive digital learning ecosystem involving teachers, students, and collaborative learning activities. This demonstrates how domain names can serve as practical tools for supporting education and student development.

The event also featured portfolio development guidance for students by “P’ Atom Dek Show Port (พี่อะตอม เด็กโชว์พอร์ต),” providing inspiration and preparation for further education. In addition, students presented their websites and demonstrated examples of how digital technology has been applied in the school’s teaching and learning activities.

THNIC Foundation views Suratthani 2 School as an example of an educational institution that has successfully advanced digital learning through collaboration among administrators, teachers, and students, producing tangible outcomes and creating a foundation for continuous educational development that meets the needs of future learners.
