The THNIC Academy of the Thai Network Information Center Foundation (THNIC Foundation) successfully organized the “Computational Thinking and Programming Skill.” The program was conducted on June 6–7 and June 13–14, 2026. A total of 21 students participated in the program, with 21 students successfully meeting the training requirements and receiving certificates of completion.

The training commenced with a welcome address by Mr. Parkpoom Tripatana, Director of THNIC Academy, who provided participants with an overview of this course. The training sessions were subsequently led by Asst.Prof. Dr. Thongchai Chuachan and his team from the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Science and Technology, Surindra Rajabhat University.

The program focused on developing Computational Thinking skills and introducing fundamental concepts in Computer Science through a variety of interactive learning activities. Participants learned algorithm design, logical thinking, and problem-solving through hands-on activities. The program also introduced AI-powered tools such as Google AI Studio to help students explore basic programming concepts and develop simple applications. Students were able to transform algorithms previously learned through unplugged learning activities into practical programming which helps them better understand the problem-solving process.

In addition, the training strengthened essential competencies such as teamwork, creativity, and communication. These skills provide a strong foundation for further studies in software development and other technology-related fields.
